TBLT 2013 Student Bursaries

TOEFL award for student research on TBLT

The TOEFL program has provided funding to sponsor up to ten awards of $500 each to support students presenting at the TBLT 2013 conference. To be considered for an award, applicants must (a) be a currently enrolled student, and (b) have a paper or poster or colloquium session accepted for presentation at the TBLT 2013 conference.

Deadline for all applications: March 31st, 2013

Please submit in a single document, as email attachment:

  • Your name, email, and mailing address

    Your presentation title and abstract (and names of any co-presenters), which must have been accepted for the conference

    An additional statement of 250 words maximum explaining your interests in TBLT, and where appropriate, how your work might contribute to the further development of TBLT

    Details of the institution and program you are registered at as a student, the name of your supervisor, and the nature (full-time or part-time) and dates of your registration

  • Applications should be sent by email, to John Norris (norrisj@georgetown.edu), Convenor of the International Consortium for TBLT, who will chair the adjudicating panel.
